I’ve always found it hard to make a relationship work. I have met some wonderful people, but somehow all the things that had kept us together slid away and left us separate and marooned. This is always a horrible feeling, and when the relationship ends you are always left feeling empty, and that you have somehow missed out on something, even if you are the one that finished it.
When this happens once, you feel second time round, as you have been here before and you know what to avoid, it will be easier not to make the same mistakes and make a better go of it all round. Maybe you cannot answer this question easily, as everyone has a tendency to blame the ex, but at some stage, and at some time of life, you have to look at yourself and ask yourself the question: What did I do wrong?
Well I have asked myself that question, and I have realised that I have always had too much going on, and somehow expected the relationship to fit in around my career. This is really important to me, and I do not want to let it go, and it has taken me a long time to realise this.
